Simple childhood memories
State fairs and pony rides
Running around until I was tired
My dad carrying me out to the car
Watching the stars and the clouds
Sitting too close to the fence at softball games
Getting yelled at by umpires for distracting the players
Going to the old grocery store with my mom and brother
Fighting over who got to get the dog food
Root beer floats at my grandma's
Staying over and laughing at how loud my uncle snored
Playing with dogs, climbing trees, skinning knees
Wrestling in the front yard
Water baloons
Girls weren't icky yet (actually, they never were)
Staying up until 9pm (so late!) to watch Riptide or the Dukes of Hazard
Getting up early to eat cereal and watch cartoons
Hiding from my parents to avoid chores
Having to do them anyway after they found us
